Get: The Best Boys' Tee Ever
Hear ye, hear ye, I've discovered the perfect boys' t-shirt. It's made with soft-as-silk jersey cotton, it's slim fitted, it has zero polyester (I detest polyester, it causes shirts to pill and itches sensitive skin), and it passed my durability test. The only problem with finding the perfect boys' t-shirt is that my little boys wisely refuse to wear anything but the best tee ever.
The shirt I'm raving about is the J.Crew Boys' Jersey T-Shirt. It comes in sizes 2-16, which means our boys can wear these pretty much as long as they're under our roofs! Currently, it's available in three colors (white, navy, grey). The price point is higher than I like ($19.50), but right now they're marked down (to $17.50) and there's a 30% off promo through Monday, plus free shipping always. This puts them at $12.25 each. Last year, it came in a beautiful Nantucket red that I scored for $6 each; hopefully they'll roll out some more colors soon. They recently began selling a v-neck version that I'm excited to add to my children's drawers.
It's hard to find kids clothes that look good, feel good, fit right, are reasonably priced, and withstand a beating. This tee gets five stars in my book.
Honestly, I've been disappointed with the quality of J.Crew's children's clothing as of late, but these tees are higher quality than the pajamas and socks whose holes revealed they were not built for a child's active life.
