Today I'm highlighting Rancho San Antonio Preserve in Los Altos. Honestly, I have a lot more exploring to do there—I've barely scratched the surface of this 4,000 acre outdoor wonderland. There are 24 miles of trails to hike, run, bike, and horseback; there is a working farm with cows, pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens; and the icing on the cake is that parking is free. When I was leaving Rancho a week ago, a wild turkey turkey popped out to bid me farewell! I quickly pulled over, put on my hazards, grabbed my camera, stalked him, and got his portrait.
