Go: Tahoe Cabins

Finding a low-cost cabin on Lake Tahoe is difficult, let alone at Lake Tahoe (prepositions matter here). I've tried and come up short, and understandably so: it's a gorgeous, world-famous destination. I love beauty, I love deals, and I love sharing ideas to help people live the good life, on less. So, today I'm sharing an exciting discovery: inexpensive Tahoe cabins.

Zephyr Point Conference Center is located on a half-mile of stunning southeast Tahoe shoreline. They have over 40 cabins available to the public for rent. I recently called to inquire about Christmas week, and was doubly surprised—by availability, and by price point: they had a 2-bedroom cabin for $121 per night and a 1-bedroom cabin for $82 per night. These are well-maintained, rustic cabins that come in all sorts of sizes. Some are lakefront, some are a trail away from the lake; many have lake views; all are smashing deals.

I hope you can benefit from this Tahoe tip, whether it be in the winter snow or the summer heat, and I challenge you to find a better deal.  :)
